AcademyHealth’s State Health Research and Policy (SHRP) Interest Group will host its annual meeting on Saturday, June 22 at the Convention Center in Baltimore. The SHRP Interest Group meeting provides researchers, policymakers, and practitioners with the opportunity to hear and discuss recent state-level research that emphasizes the unique challenges of working within a state policy and political environment. The small-group format allows for participants to engage in discussion opportunities and network with peers from around the country.
The meeting is held in conjunction with AcademyHealth’s Annual Research Meeting (ARM). Registration for the ARM and the SHRP Annual Meeting opens on February 13. More information is available on AcademyHealth’s website.
A limited number of scholarships are available for state officials. These scholarships will cover the cost of travel and registration for the Interest Group meeting and the main ARM (hotel costs will not be covered). To apply for a scholarship, please contact Hilary Kennedy no later than Friday, April 12. Please indicate the reason for your interest in attending the meetings, as well as how your attendance and participation relates to your position as a state official. AcademyHealth will be in touch with applicants about the status of their scholarship request before April 26.
