Applications are now being accepted for the second class of the Medicaid Leadership Institute, a unique initiative to help Medicaid directors transform their programs into national models for high-quality, cost-effective care.
The 12-month Medicaid Leadership Institute focuses on enhancing the knowledge and skills necessary for directors to effectively lead and foster innovation in their state Medicaid programs. The curriculum includes in-person meetings, site visits to participant states, individualized leadership coaching, and opportunities to network with leaders from other states and experts in many fields.
Up to eight Medicaid directors will be competitively selected as Fellows for the 2011 Medicaid Leadership Institute class (July 2010-June 2011). Only current Medicaid directors are eligible to apply for the program.
