Stay tuned for SCI’s annual publication State of the States. We expect to release an online version of this year’s edition – “The State We’re In” – on January 25, 2010. The report will emphasize the accomplishments of states in 2009 despite a bleak budget picture. It will highlight some of the challenges and questions going forward as states continue to cope with budget shortfalls and grapple with the possibility of federal reform.
