The State of West Virginia issued this Request for Proposal for those interested in providing in-person assistance services and oversight for the federally administered West Virginia Health Benefit Marketplace.

Vermont Health Connect issued this Notice of Application for those interested in applying to become Navigator Organizations. Navigator Organizations will support operations, management, reporting and compensation of Vermont Health Connect's Navigators. Navigator Organizations will also interact directly with Vermont Health Connect to streamline the data collection and reporting by Navigators.

The Washington Health Benefit Exchange issued this set of training standards that must be met by all entities and individuals carrying out Navigator functions.

Beginning October 1, 2013, Tribal Assisters will begin helping people enroll in health care coverage using a web portal called the Washington Healthplanfinder. Tribal Entities may start informing and educating tribal members about these coverage options before October 1. This Request for Proposal (RFP), issued by the Washington Health Benefit Exchange, outlines the requirements of the HBE Tribal Assister Program and solicits applications from interested tribal entities.

MNsure released its final rules on its consumer assistance program, detailing the eligibilty requirements, roles and responsbilities, and training standards for in-person assisters, navigators, and brokers. 

Maryland Health Benefit Exchange released an Request for Proposals for those interested in developing and delivering the training curriculum for its Connector Program, which will help consumers learn about, apply for and enroll in an appropriate health insurance product, including Medicaid, the Maryland Children’s Health Program (MCHP), and subsidized and non-subsidized qualified health plans (QHPs).

California Health Benefit Exchange has released draft regulations for its Assisters Program, providing guidance on its in-person assistance and navigator programs, training standards, and appeals process.
