A new Evidence Roadmap from AcademyHealth’s Translation and Dissemination Institute highlights selected research evaluating the impact of Medicaid managed care on health care costs, quality, utilization, and access to care. The Roadmap focuses particularly on populations new to Medicaid managed care, including nursing home patients and others receiving long-term services and supports. It is the latest in a series of Roadmaps that presents key research studies, systematic reviews, and other rigorous evidence to help policy analysts and other stakeholders explore the current state of knowledge about a topic relevant to health policy or the delivery of health services.
