An Exploration of Payment Redesigns Supporting Behavioral Health and Primary Care Integration
AcademyHealth, with support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, will host a free webinar on April 14 highlighting successful examples of how to integrate behavioral and physical health providers with a supporting payment model. Behavioral health patients often have complex co-morbidities that make coordination between providers especially important to improve care and outcomes. Developing payment structures that enable behavioral health and primary care integration are critical to consider in any payment and delivery system reform initiative. Representatives from Rocky Mountain Health Plans and Cherokee Health Systems will share examples of such efforts currently underway within their organizations.
