Registration is now open for AcademyHealth’s National Health Policy Conference (NHPC), being held February 9-10, 2015 in Washington, DC. The NHPC provides expert perspectives on the nation’s health policy agenda. Now in its 15th year, the meeting is designed to provide clarity on the most critical health care issues and immediate policy priorities, with in-depth analysis from health policy insiders.
Breakout sessions will focus on the present and future outlook of health policy and will address innovations in care delivery and financing, updates on state experiences with Medicaid and the exchanges, and opportunities and challenges for the evolving health care workforce. Explore the agenda, which is now available online.
The State Health Research and Policy Interest Group (SHRP IG) will also be hosting its annual Policy Breakfast on Tuesday, February 10 in conjunction with NHPC. This year’s breakfast, “Re-conceptualizing Integration: How to Build a Holistic Health System,” will explore various state-based approaches to integrating health and health care, including primary care and behavioral health integration, integration of health and social services, and connecting these integration efforts to the broader social determinants of health.
