New York held a stakeholder meeting to discuss findings from a research study by Wakely Consulting on the New York broker market. Consultants from Wakely presented policy options for the state to consider, and a range of state-based groups shared their perspectives on broker and navigator strategies with state officials.

The California Department of Managed Health Care has announced the launch of a partnership with the Health Consumer Alliance to assist Californians struggling to gain access to health coverage. In addition to direct assistance, the Health Consumer Alliance will also provide consumers with information on changes to the health care system as a result of the ACA.
