Guam (HRSA Only)
In 2004, Guam received HRSA SPG funds to develop a viable, workable, and effective series of comprehensive coverage expansion strategies that could lead to a reduction in the number of Guam's uninsured population. In order to increase the level of understanding concerning the uninsured population, the island conducted a population-based survey, analysis of existing of data sets, and personal interviews. A Focus Committee was also created to identify the characteristics of the uninsured population and develop a plan to provide access to health insurance coverage.
