State Network Annual Meeting Plenary Presentations

The State Health Reform Assistance Network (State Network) hosted its Annual Meeting in Portland, Oregon to bring together state officials and State Network technical assistance providers for a three day intensive meeting from July 11-13, 2012.  The Annual Meeting provided an opportunity for state officials to hear from Oregon Governor John Kitzhaber, Len Nichols, and Jeanene Smith during plenary sessions. The link below provides access to a video clip of Governor Kitzhaber’s opening plenary speech, and keynote speaker Len Nichols' presentation on the next steps for health reform implementation after the Supreme Court decision and lessons to be learned from United States history on the challenges that lay ahead.  Additionally, Jeanene Smith provided an overview of Oregon’s Coordinated Care Organizations and its triple aim of better health, better care, and lower costs.
