Communicating in Plain Language
The challenge in 2014, when about 50 million uninsured Americans gain new health insurance coverage options, will be to make sure that as many people as possible understand their options and have the information they need to choose what’s best for them. This brief focuses on the language used in written materials such as applications, renewal forms, notices, explanatory materials, brochures, etc., both online and on paper.
