Ohio Launches Initiative on Health Care Payment Reform
Ohio Governor John Kasich launched an initiative to start to change Ohio's public and private health care business models from a volume based model to one based on value and performance. The Offices of Ohio Health Plans (Ohio Medicaid) will partner with Catalyst for Payment Reform (CPR), which is an independent, national non profit organization that leverages the collective strength of private and public sector health care purchases to achieve better quality and value in health care.
