Minnesota Comments on Exchange Rules
On October 31, 2011 Minnesota submitted comments on all five proposed regulations announced by CMS in July and August of 2011. The state was specifically concerned with the proposed regulations that contain significant variation between Medicaid and premium tax credit eligibility. The state urges CMS to further simplify the eligibility determination process in order to gain greater consistency across Medicaid and premium tax credits.
