New York Medicaid Redesign
The New York state Medicaid program recently announced that it has achieved $596.35 million in savings since the April 1 start of the fiscal year as a result of a Medicaid redesign project being implemented in the state. The savings achieved represent 3.8 percent of the state’s $15.3 billion budget for the 2011-2012 fiscal year.
