Second Annual Report on the Quality of Care for Children in Medicaid and CHIP
The Children's Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act of 2009 (CHIPRA), directs the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services to report annually on State-specific measures of the quality of health care provided to children under Titles XIX (Medicaid) and XXI (CHIP) of the Act. This 2011 Secretary's Report, outlines the several activities undertaken by CMS to update information on the quality of care children receive in Medicaid/CHIP.
