In "Colorado Children’s Health Insurance Status: 2011 update" the Colorado Health Institute estimates that about 78,000 of Colorado children were eligible but not enrolled in Medicaid or CHIP+ programs in 2009. This is a significant drop from Colorado Health Institute's 2008 estimate of 104,000 eligible but not enrolled children.
