ABA-Comments on Grandfather Plans
In response to the coordinated interim final rules for group health plans and health insurance coverage relating to status as grandfathered plan under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act issued by the Internal Revenue Service, the Department of Labor, and the Department of Health and Human Services, the American Bar Association Section of Taxation sent comments on March 23, 2011, recommending that the final rule provide relief and clarification for grandfathered plans.
