The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has released final regulations on The Medicaid Program; Eligibility Changes under the Affordable Care Act of 2010 as well as an impact analysis and fact sheet.

This Government Accountability report found that enrollment in the Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan (PCIP) and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) programs was slow to start but increased steadily over the first year, ending with more than 27,000 and 705,000 enrollees, respectively.
